The wife and I went to see Bill Cunningham New York last night at the Film Forum. I had no idea who he was, had never been to an indie theater before and actually never even been to see documentary in theaters before.
I am not the biggest fashion guy in the world (I know what I like, thats it), but Bill Cunningham would tell me otherwise. His whole view is that beauty is being different and know what you like. Not what the designers shove down your throat. Just be you!
This was not only an interesting fashion piece but a wonderful human piece as well. There were also plenty of laughs. I highly recommend checking it out even though its running its last shows at the film forum today.
