Irving Plaza
We went to see my favorite member of the Wu Tang Clan perform
his classic album Liquid Swords. I am usually not a huge fan of hip hop shows as it usually doesn't translate live. However, Irving Plaza is a pretty decent venue for it. Again, it wasn't the best show I have ever been too, but they handled the sound well. The show wasn't sold out, but it was pretty packed and we had to watch from the upstairs. Had the show not been in celebration of Liquid Swords, I am not sure we would have been there. It was a great time though, as he performed an album that we all loved and are able to get down with. I just wish hip hop still sounded like this. RZA Masta Killa, and Raekwon were there as well, which was a nice bonus.
Non Music Related High Point.
Being able to be a teenager with 10 of my closest friends for an hour an a half. It was more of an event than a show.
